My 26th Birthday!!

It all boils down to that 1 day, where you feel super happy and super excited and you realize that you’ve grown older.

I turned 26 on Sunday! I’ve just touched my late twenties…Boy, its fast! J

I had a wonderful birthday! Really nice and memorable one!! I feel so much loved!!! N its all thanks to the people I’m blessed with, who really care about me!

The celebrations started on Saturday, with an outing with the girls. It was fun! Girls night out are always lovely…We laughed our hearts out, said funny things, took lots of photos and basically had a lot of fun! N I love the chicken wings and cheese pizza at No.5. I sooo loved that place on Saturday. It was very empty! Praise F1!! Hehe…
These people sang me a ‘Happy Birthday’ song in the MRT at 12 midnite! :) Everyone in the train was looking at us! Hehe…So paise…I think some boys were clapping together with them!!

My friends are more happening than me now. They wanted to club for my birthday and I tagged along! I also asked Victor to join us there. He came for a while and we left early while the others carried on! I’m getting too old for that, I like…
The next day was good. I went over to my aunt’s place for a while and they surprised me with a cake!! Then I went over to Victor’s place and his mum cooked for me and also gave me a small gift! It was really very nice of her!

Victor bought me out for dinner and gave me surprise! Minah, Rathika and the gang arrived there with a cake!! A smiley faced cake, with supposedly represents me! :)
And the inevitable had to happen!! I got my cake facial, like Rathika puts it! It was kinda like her revenge for her birthday!
Just when I tot it was over, I went back to Victor’s place and I cut another cake! This was from his sis! She’s a darling!!
I was really elated yesterday. I really felt very happy and loved yesterday!! In total, I cut 3 cakes yesterday! Wow!!

Now I’m slightly sick of cakes…hehehe….

Thank god, there isn’t anybody’s birthday for the next month…hehe…

I have uploaded all the photos in Facebook!

The 2nd holiday in 2008 - KL again!!!

I went for my 2nd holiday this year! :) Woohooo!! :)

I went to KL again, this time with Victor. It was good! It was more R & R than the other time, where I was shopping like hell. Both of us had a good getaway. It gave us a good chance to relax and also sort things out between us. :) The whole holiday was a good outcome!
I had the duty of planning the trip and being his guide around, since I jus went there recently...hehe...i know...poor him to have me as his tour guide...But i did do a good job!

The major plan of the trip was to go to Batu Caves. I had always wanted to see the majestic Murugan statue there and so I planned it in the trip to make my wish come true. Other than that, we just decided to play by time and see what we can do.
Both of us in the coach on Thursday morning!
On our first day, we checked out Berjaya Times Square shopping centre, then went to Chinatown to do some shopping. We had a body massage done there. The woman who massaged me nearly broke my bone! I regretted not having enough 'meat'.
Me admist all those imitation branded bags!! Haha!!
The next day, we went to Batu Caves. I was awed at the statue! It was incredibly nice! A very lovely sight to see it. We took a lot of pictures there. And I survived climbing those 272 steps! I was pretty breathless when I was on top but I was ok after a while. The inside of the cave was equally beautiful and very cooling. After that we headed to Brickfields for a good lunch and for Victor to have a good shave!

The majestic statue! Such a beautiful sight!!
Both of us looking super duper tiny standing in front if it!Those 272 steps! My knees were pretty wobbly even after we left Batu Caves! Victor wanted this shot!! I was too scared to go near it so I safely stood behind! Hehehe!!
Victor's getting shaved! His favourite way of doing it!We took this pic on the way back to Bukit Bintang in the monorail. I just find it sooo touristy!! hehehe!!
On our way back to the hotel, we stopped by at the shops nearby and I did the Fish Spa! It was goood! Ticklish though...The fishes were rushing to my feet the moment they touched the water...hehe...everytime it got too ticklish, i pushed the fishes away and they came back, biting me again. Victor wanted to try it but he just couldn't take the ticklishness so he did his favourite foot reflexology instead. It was a good half an hour of fish-biting.
Fish Spa!!!
Foot Reflexology!!!
We actually wanted to go Bangsar on Friday evening which was kinda like Boat Quay over there but we got lazy after a while so we decided to just hang around in the vincinity. We walked around the shopping areas, had ice-cream and got a small memory from KL - Our very own real-life sketch together. I dont really think it looks exactly like us but i kinda like it.

Walking around Bukit Bintang at night!
Getting our sketch done!
The Sketch! We had a good rest on the last morning of our trip. Then we got the yummy Famous Amos cookies and did some walking around to kill time and we were off onto the coach back to Singapore.

We both concluded that we had a very good trip! :)
I've updated all the photos in Facebook for your viewing pleasure! :)
I wanna go for another one again!!! Let's see if i can plan one around the end of the year!

Evil tot i know...but i didn't succumb to it...I rolled over, semi-slept for another 15 mins and moved my ass to the bathroom...I keep telling myself to tahan for another 2 more days...I know I can...

Grown Up Stuff...

Everytime I watch 'Dhool', I have the strong urge to blog about it. But i refrain myself from doing coz I know that nothing good is gonna come out of me, regarding that show. So I shall keep my trap shut. But one thing I'll say is "Vadi rocks! Big time!!"

September's here! Fast and good! Which means i'm reaching my goal nearer...Its a lame goal but I'm sooooo looking forward to it! Only then will I have a peace of mind.

Its interesting how after a certain age, u do grown-up stuff. Like celebrating your friend's wedding anniversary. I guess sometimes u just to come to terms with the fact that you are growing older.

Yet another chill-out session at Rathika's place. Victor and I are running out of things to do during the weekends. So this weekend was planned to be spent at Rathika's place. But what we didnt know was that it was Siva and Rathika's wedding anniversary. She only told us when we were. Her sister, Suba bought her a surprise cake. We sang them the anniversary version of 'Happy Birthday'. They were touched. The kids were even happier. They went along with the surprise and didn't tell their parents until Suba bought in the cake!

Happy Family!
I love this picture! Its really nice to see them like tat after everything they have been through! :)Her children are real darlings!! Love them sooo much!!
