Grown Up Stuff...
Everytime I watch 'Dhool', I have the strong urge to blog about it. But i refrain myself from doing coz I know that nothing good is gonna come out of me, regarding that show. So I shall keep my trap shut. But one thing I'll say is "Vadi rocks! Big time!!"
September's here! Fast and good! Which means i'm reaching my goal nearer...Its a lame goal but I'm sooooo looking forward to it! Only then will I have a peace of mind.
Happy Family!

Its interesting how after a certain age, u do grown-up stuff. Like celebrating your friend's wedding anniversary. I guess sometimes u just to come to terms with the fact that you are growing older.
Yet another chill-out session at Rathika's place. Victor and I are running out of things to do during the weekends. So this weekend was planned to be spent at Rathika's place. But what we didnt know was that it was Siva and Rathika's wedding anniversary. She only told us when we were. Her sister, Suba bought her a surprise cake. We sang them the anniversary version of 'Happy Birthday'. They were touched. The kids were even happier. They went along with the surprise and didn't tell their parents until Suba bought in the cake!
Happy Family!

Peiying's got a Tattoo!!
I am the appropriate example for 'Curling Attempt' gone wrong. They can use me as an example. And i have no one to blame except for myself. I know my hair doesn't look that bad in photos but trust me, its really messy and frizzy!! Sigh!
My colleague Peiying finally got a tattoo on Tuesday!!!!! Me so proud of her! She's been wanting a tattoo for a loooong time but she was scared of the pain. Then she decided that she was going to do it and braved herself for it. Jon and I went along with her for moral support! hehe!!
My dumb N73 died on me at the wrong time. I was happily snapping photos and the battery died on at the moment, just before she was gonna get tattooed!!! But i did manage to get some good shots. But the look on her face and she hugging the pillow was priceless!!! Poor girl was in pain but she took it like a woman!
The 'Before'. At Gelare, she was trying not to think abt the tattooing session in about 20 mins.
Jon with his ever-goofy smile. This guy never fails make me laugh!
At the tattoo shop - the tattooist tracing her design...
The design...
Preparing the spot...
Adjustments...
Confirmed! I just love her design!!!
She was really freaking out on the inside!
This was when my battery died! Right after this shot, I was soooo fucking pissed with my phone! I really need to get a new one but not now...I'll wait a bit more longer and get something i really like.
I took this the next day at work. Her tattoo is really really NICE! I love it soooo much!!!
I saw a fairy tattoo that i like....and now I'm wondering where that can go....hmmm....*evil tots*
muahahahahahaha......

Nothing lasts forever...The only thing that is constant is 'Change'.
Finally! I finally got to celebrate Victor's birthday on Sunday! He was in Brunei during his birthday early this month and he sounded pretty bummed about it when he called me from there. I had made a few plans to celebrate, after he was back but they all cocked up somehow.
So finally, a last minute plan came up and it was done! It was a double celebration actually, together with Siva's birthday. Both of them are August babies, 5 days apart. 'The Leos' - they call themselves. Their favourite liner "Only a Leo knows another Leo"!
We celebrated it at Rathika's place. We seem to be hanging out there really often these days. We would been there on Saturday too if Siva was not working the next day. Hehe...her place is pretty cozy and the kids are there to play with. Nowadays I keep suggesting Rathika's place to chill-out...Minah's gonna kill me soon...hehe...
It was fun! My handphone battery died on me while I was trying to take some snaps. Then Rathika took out her camera and its battery also died but thankfully after taking quite a number of shots! She was the saviour!!
I'll upload them once she sends them to me!
We all learn things everyday, don't we. And one thing that I've learnt is; The world is really full of ugly people. Its really very hard these days to find a genuinely nice person who is not a hypocrite.
Sad truth...

Photo Album Done!
I've learnt my lesson, at the cost of about 100 bucks...Curly hair is not for me! Straight hair is better, and that's exactly what I'm gonna do in another 2 months' time. I'm so waiting for that! Cannot tahan already!
I finally managed to get the outstanding photos from Victor and Minah. And now the photo album in my computer is much more organised and updated.
For your viewing pleasure! :)
Rathika's surprise birthday at her place.
I find her so cute in this picture! See, the excitement in her face! hehe...
And this is the Birthday Cake facial from her husband, Siva. Well, i would have uploaded her face after everything was done but then i think she might just kill me...hehe...so i better not!
The rest of us, feeding her with love. After what Siva did, she was very cautious when getting the cake from us.
Minah's mum's birthday at Sakura
Can u believe how young she looks...Does she even look like Minah's mother? She was thinking that she was just going for lunch with us, so did Minah. But Victor showed up halfway with a cake! Hehe...She was surprised and happy! :)
And after this, I actually walked into the male toilet at Far East Plaza, when Victor was coming out of the cubicle. He was teasing me about it, till we went back home!!
The fireworks photos from the NDP Preview
It was really a beautiful sight! The fireworks were lovely!! Minah and I were busy trying out her new camera, while waiting for the fireworks to start. She bought one with 10 megapixels...Super clear!!!
I just love this shot!!!!
The breath-taking fireworks. Everyone was going "Ahhh" and "Ohhh" and "Wow"!! Hehe!! Minah and I were trying to get some shots of ourselves with the fireworks and we somehow succeeded.

Ok, this was a stupid shot. U know...empty road...and we being able to walk on it, without fear of traffic...so I took a shot. Why the extended hand? Everyone was doing it, so me also follow suit for fun la...hehe!!
And this was the surprise one! Everyone thought it was over and started walking away and suddenly this came out! This was beautiful!!!
Okie dokie! Job done! Time for me to go home!! :)

Happy National Day
I don't know what came over me.
I went to Hang Ten yesterday specially to get a red polo tee to wear today. I joined in the National Day Observance ceremony at MOE jus now and actually enjoyed myself. I walked around with a National flag while eating the food provided and I have a Singapore flag on my table.
Strange...coz I was never this on for National Day celebrations in these 7 years with MOE...
To top it up, I even posed for a photo with Nithila and the Singapore flag....I'm surprised with myself...
Patriorism on the high? And at this point of time?
