I'm back to doing what I disliked doing and what I left MOE for.
But the saving grace is the fact that I'm just helping out and not in-charge of anything. And I keep telling myself that it is just a job, these people have nothing personal against me and once its 4 pm, I have no connection to it. :)
I've found a new chill-out place which I like! I decided to stop frequenting No. 5 Emerald Hill unless unavoidable, after my last visit there with Peiying, 2 weeks ago. The place is getting too 'Indian'. Too many Indians are flocking to No. 5 and now even the music seems to be catering for them. Nothing against my own kind but I would rather chill out where it isn't too noisy or too drama like. No.5 was getting there with the kind of crowd visiting it.
'Uncabunca' at Boat Quay is cosy and nice. The music's good too. Victor and I happened to pass by after dinner at Shah Alam. We found the place appealing so the 'ice-cream by the river' idea was dumped and we went there to play pool with a drink. Victor had not been drinking for some time already and he got excited hearing 'Stella Artois' from the waiteress. His eyes had sparkles when he saw the bottle. I just had a coke. I've been alcohol-free for some time already. That's nice.
I should start playing pool more. I'm beginning to enjoy it. Victor is a good teacher although he stressed me up abit.
It was a good weekend after a so-called bad week...Novena Church...Dinner at Boat Quay...Pool at Uncabunca...Dasavathram & Kuruvi midnight movie combi...Breakfast...Short dinner on Sunday = My well spent weekend. Better than drinking and clubbing. :) I likeeee...
I guess its another 2 months of patience-testing with me helping out with the Primary One Registration Exercise...sigh...
Tahan!!!

Sad truth...
Do people start looking for friends when they are getting married? Hmm...Why ah? Hongbao or sharing of their happiness?
I received a sms from a friend, with whom I had no spoken for like 10 years. She's getting married at the end of the month and would like me to attend her wedding. It was nice of her to think of inviting me but then i just found it a bit funny coz we hadn't spoke to each other for like 10 years. The last time I saw her was like 6 years back and we just smiled at each other.
Oh well, i'm happy that she's getting married. Hopefully it lasts. Do i sound cynical? But isn't that the case these days? The divorce rates are like soaring higher and higher day by day. People are like getting married and getting divorced at unimaginable speed.
These days I hear more people getting divorced than getting married. Scary isn't it? Although I am an optimistic person, hearing too much of such news makes me think alot about marriage.
Getting married is easy...Its the 'staying married' part that's difficult. To me, marriage is about being with that special someone for the rest of your life. Remember the phrase 'Till death do us part'? That is what marriage is to me. If two people make a decision to get married, they should be ready for everything that comes along with it-The commitment, the need to compromise, the ability to remain faithful to each other and the courage to handle difficult times with each other.
If I do get married to someone, I would want both of us to be married and in love with each other till either one of us dies.
I know I won't screw up but would the other person be the same?
Looking at things, I'm slowly losing faith nowadays...

Conspiracy?
A present from Jonathan...
He knows I love peanut butter...and I know I'll most probably finish this jar in another 2 or 3 days...
Is there some kind of conspiracy going on to make me fat? Hmmm...

End of Holiday...Back to Reality... :(
Welcome to June!! Half a year gone and another half going soon...
KL was good! I enjoyed the holiday although there were some small adjustments to make. But it was a good break from all that shit that was happening around me.
I needed this holiday alot! It did me good mentally, not physically though! We walked alot, really really alot!! We were practically drained at the end of everyday!!! But it was gooood!! We shopped alot too! Chinatown is great! I gotto go there again soon!!! I'm sooooo in love with shopping at KL!!
I also ate like a pig!! McDonalds, tasty Indian food, Bakin Robbins ice-cream, snacking n more snacking, fine dining at Vansh, desserts at Secret Recipe - I was in food heaven!
The Famous Amos cookies there taste better than those in Singapore. It was more crunchier, more chocolatey and more nuttier! We had a packet everyday and we even bought some back home to munch on.
But the bus ride back was a killer! It was one of the worse bus rides I had ever taken! Hell it was! Ended up with a terrible backache and neckache the next day. I really hope the next time I go, the coach bus would be better. I got a bit depressed on the ride back. The holiday was over and I had to get back to reality...sigh...that feeling sucked!
Now I have to start mugging for my final exam and researching for my graduation project...I only have 2 months for it...argh...God help me!!
I'm seriously contemplating whether I should get a camera in July instead of waiting till the end of the year. Its sooo irritating to wait for people to email me the photos, especially now that I love creating albums and tagging people in Facebook...hehe...i'll consider harder...
Snapshots in KL (courtesy of Katijah):
-The start of the holiday, I look super sleepy in the picture taken in the bus...I had to force a smile...
-Fine dining at Vansh! Their cheese naan was soooo cheesy...yum yum!!! Katijah and Minah were having this drink called 'Kamasutra'...kinky rite...But it wasnt alcoholic, just a mixture of passionfruit and plum.
-And finally, another one of Minah & Kethrine's goofy photo moments! Hehe...I love it though!!

-On our way to Brickfields in the monorail. I thanked God for our MRT trains while travelling in that. It was scary!

-This picture was taken in the toilet at Marriot where Vansh was. The wheels had to been turned if you wanted to use the wash basin and there was someone there to actually turn and stop the wheels. Cool!
-Our last pig-out stop before heading home; Secret Recipe. Their chicken lagsane was tasty and their tom yam noodles were spicy nice!-And finally, another one of Minah & Kethrine's goofy photo moments! Hehe...I love it though!!
