I went for my 2nd holiday this year! :) Woohooo!! :)
I went to KL again, this time with Victor. It was good! It was more R & R than the other time, where I was shopping like hell. Both of us had a good getaway. It gave us a good chance to relax and also sort things out between us. :) The whole holiday was a good outcome!
I had the duty of planning the trip and being his guide around, since I jus went there recently...hehe...i know...poor him to have me as his tour guide...But i did do a good job!
The major plan of the trip was to go to Batu Caves. I had always wanted to see the majestic Murugan statue there and so I planned it in the trip to make my wish come true. Other than that, we just decided to play by time and see what we can do.
Both of us in the coach on Thursday morning!
On our first day, we checked out Berjaya Times Square shopping centre, then went to Chinatown to do some shopping. We had a body massage done there. The woman who massaged me nearly broke my bone! I regretted not having enough 'meat'.Me admist all those imitation branded bags!! Haha!!
The next day, we went to Batu Caves. I was awed at the statue! It was incredibly nice! A very lovely sight to see it. We took a lot of pictures there. And I survived climbing those 272 steps! I was pretty breathless when I was on top but I was ok after a while. The inside of the cave was equally beautiful and very cooling. After that we headed to Brickfields for a good lunch and for Victor to have a good shave! The majestic statue! Such a beautiful sight!!
Both of us looking super duper tiny standing in front if it!Those 272 steps! My knees were pretty wobbly even after we left Batu Caves! Victor wanted this shot!! I was too scared to go near it so I safely stood behind! Hehehe!!Victor's getting shaved! His favourite way of doing it!We took this pic on the way back to Bukit Bintang in the monorail. I just find it sooo touristy!! hehehe!!
On our way back to the hotel, we stopped by at the shops nearby and I did the Fish Spa! It was goood! Ticklish though...The fishes were rushing to my feet the moment they touched the water...hehe...everytime it got too ticklish, i pushed the fishes away and they came back, biting me again. Victor wanted to try it but he just couldn't take the ticklishness so he did his favourite foot reflexology instead. It was a good half an hour of fish-biting.
Fish Spa!!!
Foot Reflexology!!!We actually wanted to go Bangsar on Friday evening which was kinda like Boat Quay over there but we got lazy after a while so we decided to just hang around in the vincinity. We walked around the shopping areas, had ice-cream and got a small memory from KL - Our very own real-life sketch together. I dont really think it looks exactly like us but i kinda like it.
Walking around Bukit Bintang at night!
Getting our sketch done!
The Sketch! We had a good rest on the last morning of our trip. Then we got the yummy Famous Amos cookies and did some walking around to kill time and we were off onto the coach back to Singapore. We both concluded that we had a very good trip! :)
